Need to Know
Umbria is Italy’s best-kept secret, the “green heart” where rolling hills meet medieval charm, and truffles, chocolate, olive oil, and wine are basically a food group. Life moves slower here (intentionally), meals linger, and every turn is a postcard moment. The only rule? Don’t rush it (with a drink in hand, of course).

In The Air & on the Ground
September is one of the very best times to visit Umbria. You can expect warm, sun-filled days with highs in the mid-70s to low-80s°F and cooler evenings dipping into the 50s–60s.
All wedding events will take place primarily on natural elements. Plan your shoe choice accordingly!

In Your Bag
Don’t forget your passport!
Italy runs on the euro, and most places happily accept cards - but having a little cash on hand is always a plus.
If you forget something, nearby shops and pharmacies will have most essentials you may need.

Getting Around
Most hotels and agriturismos in Umbria are tucked into the hills and countryside. Renting a car is the easiest and most practical way to get around.
If you’re comfortable driving, we highly recommend a rental car.
Umbria is best enjoyed on your own schedule.
